Overview

This position provides service to the hospital by delivering Medical Oxygen and Medical Air to all the departments and section withing the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) Campus. In charge of the Oxygen Cylinders Transfilling mission and all the documentation associated with this process.

Position Available:

Full time

40 hours per week

8 hour shifts

Wages begin at $ 20.07, DOE.

Responsibilities

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions as they relate to the functions listed above. Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively interact with departmental personnel, assist customers with inquiries, schedule meetings and appointments, and provide assistance with incoming telephone calls and walk-ins.
• Requires the ability to work effectively with common office software, including spreadsheets and word processing. Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional manner.
• Able to prioritize and organize daily work according to FMH needs. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts, hours, and on-call duties may be required.
• Must be able to walk for long periods of time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience with oxygen preferred.
