The drug delivery research team under the leadership of Dr. Giovanni M. Pauletti is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate with broad interest in biopharmaceutics and formulation development. Dr. Paueltti’s lab works closely with The Center for Clinical Pharmacology, a collaboration between Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will participate in collaborative industry-academia research efforts aimed at creating and testing of novel drug delivery systems to augment clinical efficacy and safety of novel therapeutic entities for women’s health and cancer therapy applications.
Do you have:
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics or Biomedical Engineering and a good foundation in pharmacokinetics
Research experience in polymer formulation development/assessment, HPLC analysis, in vitro cell culture techniques, and pharmacokinetic modeling
Interest in contributing to clinical prototype formulations for first-in-human clinical trials
Interest in collaborating with formulation scientists, clinicians, and representatives from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The position is available July 1, 2019 for an initial twelve (12) month appointment with the possibility for extension.
